Policy: Terms & Conditions
You agree to the following terms and conditions by placing a booking with us through the Wight Diamond Holidays website, our Facebook page, or any other direct booking method. This does not affect your statutory rights.
All bookings are made solely for the purpose of holiday stays due to planning and lease restrictions on the site. Any other enquiry type will be ignored and any non holiday bookings will be cancelled with full loss of any funds paid. If your stay has already started you will be asked to vacate the premises immediately.
The minimum age for the party leader to be twenty one as at the time of booking and we do not allow stays for any hen or stag parties.
The number of guests occupying the accommodation shall be stated on the booking and under no circumstances should this exceed the maximum occupancy of the chalet unless prior consent is sought and granted.
We allow up to two well behaved pets which need to be included in the booking. The site and chalet rules need to be adhered to regarding their ownership as listed here and also detailed in each chalet.
You may not transfer your booking to another person without our prior consent.
You agree to allow us or any representative of ours to access the property at any reasonable time to inspect the chalet for the purpose of essential repairs, in an emergency or any suspected breaches of our terms and conditions.
We reserve the right to terminate your stay and ask you to leave the accommodation if any of these rules are broken or if any anti-social behaviour is reported to us, without any refund.
Children must be supervised at all times both inside the chalets and whilst on site. If an accident or personal injury occurs to anyone on the site grounds the potential responsibility falls upon the site owner. No responsibility can be accepted for injury, loss, or damage to guests
Wight Diamond Holidays take no responsibility for the loss or damage to any vehicle or its contents and any personal effects of its guests with the use of the chalet and site and are entirely at the hirers risk.
The owner is not responsible for any loss of services to the property of electricity, water, outside drainage, TV or Wi-Fi during your stay but will do our upmost to resolve such matters if they occur.
Limit of liability
In the unlikely event that the property becomes inhabitable before or during your stay, our maximum liability you may suffer should your stay be curtailed or cancelled is limited to the price you have paid for the accommodation.
A deposit of £75 is taken for all stays at the time of booking. This is treated as non refundable and can only be refunded at the discretion of Wight Diamond Holidays. No bookings are confirmed until a confirmation email is sent following the receipt of the deposit and booking details.
The balance plus a refundable security deposit of £30 is payable 28 days prior to your arrival date. Non payment of the full balance by the due date will be treated as cancellation.
Carefully check the details of your booking before you make payment. If a mistake has been made please contact us within 24 hours of placing the booking to resolve.
Arrival and departure times
Normal check in time is 4pm and check out time by 10am at the latest. It may be possible to extend these times upon request and our confirmation.
The key access code will be provided to you no later than 7 days prior to your stay including directions as to find the chalet on site and other useful information.
Conditions of use
You are asked to respect your neighbours and other guests during your stay including noise and any other anti-social behaviour.
No unnecessary noise or disturbance is allowed between the hours of 11pm to 7am in accordance with the site rules.
We do not permit the use of any barbeques of any nature at our chalets or the use of elsewhere on the site.
You agree to keep and leave the property and the furnishings in a clean and good condition and to report any damage immediately including anything you find upon your arrival.
Your personal possessions need to be secured appropriately.
Damage waiver (security deposit)
We reserve the right to use the security deposit for any breakages, loss or damage to the property or its contents during your stay. Depending on the nature and extent of the damage this may not be charged or a higher amount requested to cover any additional loss.
We also reserve the right to charge the security deposit for any excessive cleaning following your departure.
Following successful inspection your security deposit will be refunded to you within 7 days after leaving.
