Sunset 128
Sunset is located in a quiet self catering holiday park on the outskirts of Sandown. It is a purpose built chalet and with an elevated yet sheltered, sunny position.
With far reaching views to be enjoyed from inside and a decking area which has its own seating and dining area. This is now enclosed and gated, so ideal for keeping pets and small children in! As the name suggests the sunsets can be spectacular. There is also an enclosed grass area in front of the chalet where children can play safely.
The chalet has shared Wi-Fi with next door 127 Sundown which we also own. With good signal strength at no extra cost. Electric is included also so no coins needed for the meter unlike some on the site. The kitchen is fully self contained including electric oven and hob, microwave, toaster and all the utensils you need. The lounge has a flat screen smart TV, comfortable seating with dining table and chairs. There is a small wall mounted TV/DVD player in the main bedroom. The 2nd bedroom having bunk beds.
Please note as with all the chalets on the site the design of the property may not be suitable if any in your party have any disabilities or mobility needs. Feel free to contact us with any concerns before booking.
We welcome up to two well behaved pets at no extra cost and can provide ferry discounts for both operators upon request. Please message us for further details or any extra information you may need.
We discovered Sandown Bay by chance via walking the nearby coastal path to Culver Down a few years back and fell in love with the location and consider the site a real hidden gem. We liked it so much we purchased our first chalet Sunrise 77 closely followed by our second Sunset 128! We now wish to share the secret and open up our holiday homes for guests to enjoy.
Sunset is set in a lovely location and only a few minutes walk to the sandy beach and other amenities and attractions including town and pier. There are wonderful walks on your doorstep with stunning views of both land and sea. Dinosaur Isle is approx 1.2km away with a children’s adventure park set next to it at Sandham Gardens including skynets and go-karts. Brown’s golf and the IOW Zoo are also a short walk along the seafront. Other Isle of Wight attractions including Osborne House, Blackgang Chine and the Needles can easily be reached by car or the local bus service which has a stop just outside the site entrance. Various eateries can be found in the area and also in Sandown High Street which would be approximately a 25 minute walk from the chalet.
