Wight Diamond Holidays

We discovered Sandown Bay by chance via walking the nearby costal path to Culver Down a few years ago and fell in love with the location and consider the site a real hidden gem on what has always been a wonderful island to visit. We liked it so much we purchased our first chalet Sunrise 77 which needed a complete refurbishment in 2019.

We intended for this to be our holiday home and for friends and family to stay. Not long after chalet 128 became avalible and wanting to share the secret, we decided to start a new adventure by offering our chalets for guests to enjoy.

Following on from a successful start using a management company and listing on a well known holiday website we felt we wanted to offer guests a more personal stay with the advantage of booking direct with the owner and saving some money.

A chance conversation with a neighbour led to the purchase of 127 giving us the opportunity to offer joint bookings for family or friends groups. We also now offer bookings for our friends chalet number 80 where similar applies as it is close to 77 Sunrise.

Being dog owners ourselves (retired greyhounds) we wanted all our chalets to be dog friendly as it is a lovely place to bring them with nearby walks and the all year dog friendly beach at Yaverland. We have therefore ensured that our chalets are professional cleaned to a high standard following a guests departure.

Somewhere along the way this has led to the creation of Wight Diamond Holidays starting with a Facebook page and now a website!
